The Lion is a wild animal. It has a long body. It is is about 6 to 8 feet long. It is more than three feet high.

It has a large head and a long tail The lion has pointed front teeth and stron back teeth .

The front teeth are used for holding and tearing of the hunted animals.

The back teeth help it to cut up the flesh.

The neck of the lion is covered with long hair. The neck of the lioness is not covered by hair.

The Lion is four footed animal. It feets are soft padded. It has strong jaws and very sharp claws. It’s eyes are bright .

The Lion lives chiefly in forest . It is called king of the forest.
